ENGAGE™ 7270

ENGAGE™ 7270 by Dow is an easily colorable, low density, general-purpose polyolefin elastomer (POE) grade based on ethylene butene copolymer. It is based on INSITE™ technology. Exhibits excellent melt strength & processability and lower shrinkage. Offers excellent physical properties including elasticity, toughness, low temperature ductility and reduced surface gloss. Shows better thermal stability & heat resistance and improved impact resistance & low temperature performance. Provides easy mixing, forming and processing on plastic or rubber equipments. It is recyclable for in-process scrap re-use. It is free of antiblock and slip. It can be processed using injection molding, compounding, extrusion and thermoforming. Suitable for making tough & resilient, yet flexible products. It can be used as a “neat” polymer or as a value-enhancing ingredient in compound formulations. Applications of ENGAGE™ 7270 includes footwear foams like light and deliver excellent resiliency & cushioning to the shoe, molded goods such as toys & other consumer and household items. Recommended for panels, console, trim, automotive bumper fascia, TPO roofing and noise vibration harshness (NVH) applications.
