BPD2070

BPD2070 is an unstabilized low density thermoplastic polyethylene (LDPE) grade. Exhibits electrical properties and good cleanliness. Can be processed using extrusion. Designed for use in medium voltage power cable one step silane crosslink insulation. Provided suitable antioxidant is added by the user and proper processing conditions are adopted, BPD2070 can be used as the base resin for a thermoplastic high voltage insulation compound. Adequate filtering might be necessary for use in high voltage application. It meets material specifications including ISO 1872/1: PE, KGN, 18-D003 and ASTM D 1248: Type I, Class A, Cat 5. Complies with the EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, & Commission Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006 for food contact applications. Also meets the relevant requirements of regulations including RoHS-2011/65/EU, WEEE-2002/96/EC, EoL-2000/53/EC, Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, and REACH-Regulation No. 1907/2006.
