BPD8167

BPD8167 is a reinforced low density polyethylene (LDPE) compound. Exhibits thermal stability by the addition of a carefully controlled quantity of antioxidant and contains a dispersed carbon black to provide the necessary protection against outdoor weatherability. Offers improved mechanical properties to meet French requirements for neutral phase cable applications, particularly for anchorage and adherence testing. Can be crosslinked by means of a one-step silane process and is suitable for processing by extrusion. Recommended for the insulation of low voltage power cables. BPD8167 meets material specifications including NFC 33209 Section 6.2, 6.5, & 6.8 (07/96), ASTM D 1248 Type II, Class C, Cat 5 and ISO 1872/1-PE, KHL, 27-D003. It complies with the EU Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004, Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011, & Commission Regulation (EC) No 2023/2006. Also, meets the relevant requirements of regulations including RoHS-2011/65/EU, WEEE-2002/96/EC, EoL-2000/53/EC, Regulation (EC) 1907/2006, and REACH-Regulation No. 1907/2006.
